MY NEW MINISTRY CHALLENGE - A CALL TO INDIA

I want to share with you a challenging ministry opportunity that God has presented to me. From October 1 through October 30, God has called me to go to India to reach out and spread gospel to the India Tribal region people. I will be going alone and my host in India is Jesus Grace Faith Ministries, Pastor Satyaraj. JGFM is a Christian not-for-profit organization which is registered with the Government of India. Since 1996, they have been actively involved in the wholistic development of Children and the Community. They are dedicated to provide a safe and secure environment for orphaned, poor, abandoned and neglected children of India. Their vision is to give hope and a promised future for the children focusing on the unreached souls, children and communities as they are underprivileged and the poorest in Indian society. They are dedicated to making a life-changing difference in their lives to showing God's love in action. Currently, there are 500,000 tribes there who have never heard of Jesus!

While God has opened up a door for me to develop a greater heart of compassion for His people around the world, the exciting part is that you will be able to share in this ministry in several ways. First, you can help by praying for me. I will need prayers that God will prepare me for my visit and bless my efforts as I minister to the people of India in the most remote of regions. I also need prayer that my financial needs will be met. I will need to raise $10,000 to accomplish a very aggressive schedule of taking the gospel to the people in an evangelistic manner. I have included a copy of the schedule and the cost per day that I will need, as well as the anticipated travel/visa costs.

Another way you can be involved is to help provide that financial support. Would you consider supporting me with a small donation? I have included a postage-paid envelope for you to use if you feel led to contribute. I will need to raise all my funds by August 1 in order to pay for airline tickets and other items. I look forward to doing God's work in India and letting you know all about how God has worked through our efforts when I return in November. I have started this blog to capture my future journies in performing God's work.
