THINGS I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER

It would be easy for me to wake up and complain about so many things. It's easy to worry as I turn on the news and see that our world is crumbling before our very eyes. It would be easy to sit and wallow in worry about who is getting a break and who isn't. I would be easy to let despair and anger control my destiny. Instead, I forge ahead in scripture and determination. In scripture, Jesus ta...lks to me,.... Matthew 16:24-26 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. 26 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? I choose the path less followed. Don't get caught up in the woes of today. Wake get, get up, shake off the ugly, turn a frown upside down and greet this world that God has entrusted us to and greet your brother with a hug. Let someone know that you love them today. If you do your part, at the end of the day, I know that you will feel better about yourself, others around you and you, personally, will have made this world a little better place. Thank You Father for Your word, Your works and Your wonder. Amen
