SOMETHING THE LORD HATES

While studying this morning, I was reading in Proverbs and came across this nugget: Proverbs 6:16-19 "There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers."

Then, I turned on Fox News..... I noticed all of the above had been had been... accomplished within the first 3 minutes of viewing!

We serve a truly amazing God who has created us for a relationship with him in love, compassion and care for one another, yet we have gravitated to living and accepting those seven things as "status quo", most of us don't even give it a second thought.
